Who We Are
Voices for Children of Florida is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to supporting children in Florida’s foster care and dependency system. We ensure each child has the resources and care they need to thrive—today and for the long term. Our work complements the Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Office by meeting essential, normalcy, and transition needs that public funds don’t fully cover.
What We Do
- Normalcy Program – Fast, flexible funding for essentials and childhood experiences so kids can feel safe, included, and seen.
- Empowerment Scholarship – Post‑secondary scholarships that open doors to training, college, and careers.
- Mentorship – Caring adults who provide guidance, consistency, and encouragement.
- Direct Assistance – Practical support for caregivers and volunteers (transportation, specialized items, emergency needs).
- Support for Reunification & Adoption – Resources that smooth critical transitions to safe, permanent homes.
